Yuxuan Ren is a junior researcher of sharing economics, focusing on practices of sharing economy in China. She studied at the University of Tübingen as a master's student and is now working at the University of Erfurt as a PhD student.
Her research focuses on urban gardening and green space governance, with a particular emphasis on cooperative practices in Shenzhen. She is especially interested in questions of how the mechanism behind the cooperative urban gardens are organized, changed and developed, as well as a comparison between China and Germany in such fields. She is currently a doctoral researcher on the project in the SFB “C06: Property as a World Relationship: Disposal, Care, Use".
